About Warwick Lake
Bearberry outpost on Warwick Lake is 110 miles north of Red Lake. Warwick Lake is a large lake, with many bays, rapids, and waterfalls making for absolutely super fishing for walleye and northern pike. With access to two other lakes, Copper Lake and Bullock Lake, the opportunities for fantastic fishing are endless. We are the only tourist outfitter on the lake.
Due to superb trophy angling, Warwick Lake is typically fully-booked a year in advance, but a wait list is available.
The Fishing
Fishing typically consists of mid-lake reefs and structure for walleye. Shallow weedy points and hidden inlets hold trophy class northern pike, similar to other locations. The several creeks and streams make for spectacular early season opportunities. Trophy northern pike and walleye are not uncommon at this location.
We have a strict catch and release policy for trophies, ensuring world class fishing for many generations to come.
The Cabin
Constructed on site, from local pine logs, the cabin provides four (4) bedrooms accommodating up to ten (10) people, and feature solar powered 120V lights and electricity. The cabin is very well equipped with a propane range, fridge, freezer, mattresses, and three-piece bathrooms (urinal, sink and shower), and complete with hot and cold running water. A charcoal barbecue on the deck is also included.

Warwick Lake Outpost (Bearberry) operates on weekly reservations running from Monday Departure times are between 6:30 – 8:30 am CST. Please confirm at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.

- ‡ Superior Airways Limited provides exclusive travel to all Chimo Lodge and Outpost locations. Their main float base is located at 68-Howey Street, Red Lake, ON.
Roderick Lake is truly an awesome fishery. I’ve fished it in May, June, July and August with great results during each calendar period under many different circumstances. Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout are the featured sport fish here with great numbers and size of fish available.
