Fishing & Activities
We are the largest outfitter in the Red Lake region. Our pristine waters are abundant with bait and structure, providing for some outstanding remote fishing opportunities.
Roderick Lake truly is a Fisherman’s Paradise, and an uncrowded one at that, as we are the only outfitter located on the lake. With its many inlets, bays and reefs, Roderick Lake will offer any fisherman the challenges and moments they has been waiting for all year.
Should you be the adventurous type, try our Remote Outposts, where you will have the chance to portage to adjoining lakes to experience a country that abounds with wildlife and scenery.
Types of Fish
Our main camp, located on Roderick Lake, has running hot/cold water, flush toilets, showers, and camp managers on-site 24/7. Canoes and kayaks have been added to Roderick Lake to facilitate family activities and adventures outside of fishing; and a 10-person co-ed sauna is also available.

Boats and Equipment
Since 2019, we’ve been divesting heavily into our capital plan, and are constantly upgrading assets. Our Main Camp on Roderick Lake and all Remote Outposts feature boats with 8-10 horsepower outboard motors. Our boats have also received upgraded seats, seat cushions, and brand new life jackets.
* As available, a 16-foot Lund Fury is an upgrade for $350.00 USD per week, featuring a Hummingbird Fish Finder, pedestal seats, bilge pump, flat bottom boat, and powered by a Mercury 20hp EFI outboard motor.
Ontario Outdoors Card
For non-Canadian residents a complete and valid licence to fish consists of an Outdoors Card or a Temporary Outdoors Card and Application plus a valid fishing licence tag for non-Canadian residents carried as a separate document.
You will need an Outdoors Card to fish in Ontario if you are 18 years of age and over. (NOTE: Non-residents 65 years of age or older are not exempt from requiring a licence).
If you purchase your fishing licence tag online, please remember that it is nonrefundable. You can purchase your fishing licence tag on your way or in Red Lake before your flight out.
The temporary Outdoors Card and paper licence are effective immediately. Your plastic Outdoors Card will be mailed to you, and is valid for three calendar years (including the year of purchase).
If you don’t want to purchase or renew your Outdoors card online, you can purchase a “Non-Canadian Resident Temporary Fishing Outdoors Card and Application” when you purchase a fishing licence tag. The fishing licence tag will be a separate paper permit.
You can also get more information on the Outdoors Card online, or by calling the Outdoors Card Centre at 1-800-387-7011. This toll-free number works from all of North America, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
